You know the feeling.
On your knees, clutching your toes. The bed wins again.
You knew exactly where it was. You still hit it. And for half a second, somehow, it’s the bed’s fault.
We do the same thing in bigger places. A child avoids the challenge. A team brings the decision back to the founder. We make the same promise on Monday that we are negotiating with by Wednesday.
The useful question is not always “What is wrong?”
It is: What keeps making this happen?
